My bike was finally ready (two broken spokes in the back wheel), and I needed to get a new battery for a phone, so I decided to ride my bike from the bike shop to the phone repair guy, and home again. I’m glad I have my bike back, but this wasn’t the weather for a ride! I was soaking wet when I got home. I was wearing ‘civilian’ clothes (which also means no protection), and the surface was soaked as well, so I decided to take it easy. Better not to take chances in those conditions, especially on my road bike’s tiny tires!
